Program Information
The Chinese Language School, the impetus behind the formation of
the Chinese Community Center, has become one of Houston's largest
Chinese Language Schools.
The Chinese School offers weekend Chinese classes from preschool
to level 12 and Simplified Chinese courses for anyone who is
planning travel to China, Taiwan, or Singapore. Chinese
cultural arts, painting, piano, violin, math, SAT preparation,
English writing, and computer classes are also offered to challenge
students' minds and needs. From the very first weekend of the
school, teachers and students get down to the business of teaching
and learning.
In addition to the core curriculum, the school offers
well-distinguished leadership organizations such as Chinese Youth
Society (CYS) and Junior Achievement (JA). All clubs are open
to youth in the Houston community. The CCC also benefits from
the dedication and contributions of the Education Committee,
teachers, Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), and classroom parents.
Teaching faculty is composed of 35 qualified, outstanding
professionals who have many years of experience behind them. |
