About Our Adult ESL Program

Our Adult English as a Second Language (ESL) Program provides high-quality, goal-driven English language instruction to eligible individuals to gain the language skills necessary to be self-sufficient, adapt to life in the U.S., and contribute as productive members of society.

ESL Orientation Information

• Attend our information session to learn more about our English program.
• The orientation includes an introduction to our Adult ESL Program, completing enrollment paperwork, and taking an assessment test.

Registration and Class Details

Placement Exam Requirement: Prospective students must make a registration appointment and take a placement exam. The purpose of the exam is to assess the student’s current skill level and help determine the most appropriate course for enrollment.

Class Levels:

• Beginner ESL
• Intermediate ESL
• Advanced ESL

 
Class Times:

• AM Class: 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (In-person)

 
Registration Dates and Times:
(Current semester registration will open in early January until capacity is reached.)

• Current Semester: 1/19/2026 to 3/25/2026
• Upcoming Semester: 4/13/2026 to 6/24/2026
• Upcoming class placement exams: Please check back for the dates

 
Interested students must come to the Chinese Community Center before the semester starts to register in person.
