Class Description
Celebrate Mother’s Day at CCC with a hands-on flower arrangement class! In this special workshop, you’ll learn the art of floral design- freestyle but drawing on the Japanese art of arranging flowers (Ikebana).
Participants will create a stunning table centerpiece to gift or enjoy. Perfect for all skill levels, come with a loved one or treat yourself to a creative and heartwarming experience. All materials included.

- Location: Chinese Community Center, 9800 Town Park Drive, Houston, TX 77036
- Ticket: $50/Person (Includes flowers, vase container, and class instruction).
*Note:* CCC requires that a minimum of 5 ppl are in attendance or class is canceled and ticket is refunded.
Chinese Mahjong Workshop

Class Description
Join us at the Chinese Community Center for a fun and interactive beginner’s Mahjong workshop in celebration of AAPI Month! Learn the basics of this beloved Chinese tile game, including rules, strategies, and cultural significance. Whether you’re brand new or need a refresher, this hands-on session is perfect for anyone curious about Mahjong.
There will be 1 hr of Instruction and 2 hrs of Game time. Chinese tea and snacks will be offered during play. Participants will receive an instruction pamphlet to take home.

Vietnamese Eggrolls (Chả giò) Class

Class Description
Discover the flavors of Vietnam in this delicious hands-on cooking class! Learn how to make crispy, savory chả giò (Vietnamese eggrolls) from scratch, including wrapping techniques and traditional fillings.
Along with that, learn how to make traditional dipping sauce nước mắm. Perfect for all skill levels, this class is a tasty way to celebrate AAPI Month at the Chinese Community Center. Come hungry and leave with new skills—and a few eggrolls to enjoy!
