***ACTIVITIES & EVENTS UPDATES***
- The Chinese Community Center is now accepting outreach event registrations for the 2026 Utility Assistance Program at no cost. If you are a property landlord, apartment owner, community center representative, senior housing coordinator, or affiliated with a church or temple and would like to help your residents receive free assistance with their utility bills, please contact us at here.

One-on-One Application Assistance
The Benefits Enrollment Center at the Chinese Community Center employs a personalized, one-on-one approach for scheduled clients, providing comprehensive support in the preparation of application documents and the intake or submission of applications for public benefit programs. Additionally, assistance with document translation and verbal interpretation is available throughout the process.

Group Applications Assistance
Clients attending scheduled group appointments are provided with support in the form of document assistance and application intake or submission for the public benefit programs for which they are applying. Translation services are also available, and this practice is consistently extended to all clients, including those applying for the first time, seeking to re-apply, or renewing their benefits at our office.

Digital Connections Training
Digital Connections Training is an integral component of the extended services offered at the Chinese Community Center, designed to support individuals who possess limited computer proficiency. Participants partake in virtual/in-person training sessions facilitated by an instructor, during which they develop competencies through comprehensive, step-by-step instructions. Furthermore, live translation assistance is provided by bilingual program staff to aid those with restricted English proficiency throughout the duration of the training.

Community Outreach
Annually, our organization conducts outreach visits to Senior Apartments, Community Centers, residential complexes, churches, temples, and various other public venues to assist community members. During these visits, we provide benefits counseling, application preparation support, and aid in completing and submitting program applications. Translation services, facilitated by bilingual program staff, are also offered to ensure accessibility throughout the outreach efforts.

Benefits Counseling
Program staff provide consultation to clients regarding public benefit information pertinent to the programs for which they wish to apply. This service is consistently offered to all clients, encompassing those applying for the first time, seeking to re-apply, or renewing their benefits, whether through our outreach initiatives or at the Chinese Community Center.
