CDC parents can stay engaged through Monthly Parent Meetings and Family Involvement Activities. We offer a variety of parenting topics such as:
- Child development and guidance
- Routines for home and school
- Safety
- Literacy
- Craft night
Parent involvement helps instill a value of education, extend teaching, and build a network of helpful connections in and outside the classroom. It creates a more supportive experience for the children and helps them perform better when they are in school. Parent engagement is a critical factor in helping young students successfully transition into Kindergarten and throughout their childhood.
